About the Bubbles
Are the bubbles safe for my children and pets to play with?
The bubbles are completely safe to play with. However there is soap detergent as one of the main ingredients, so do not ingest, either the bubble solution or the bubble concentrate. Please see the ingredient list and warnings on the back of the bubble mix pouch.
Can I blow bubbles inside?
It is not recommended to blow bubbles inside as there will be some spillage and dripping of the solution during the course of the blowing, which could damage interior surfaces and possibly cause a slipping hazard on slick surfaces like tiles.
Do I wash or rinse the wand after use?
Only rinse the wand if there is dirt or debris present i.e if the wand was dropped in the garden and it has grass or soil on it. Otherwise simply hang it up to dry for the next time
I put suncream on my child and now the bubbles have stopped working, what happened?
Believe it or not, bubbles do not like oil or alcohol based products being mixed with it, as it neutralise the bubbles effectiveness. Any suncream especially the pump action ones, will prevent the bubbles from forming. So apply your suncream early, allow it to soak in before starting any bubble activities.
Making the Bubbles
Do I need any specialised equipment to make these bubbles?
No specialised equipment needed, only basic kitchen utensils. A measuring jug (or anything that can accurately measure out 1L of water) and a whisk or egg beater. You will also need a 5L bucket to house the solution once mixed. Its advisable to have a bucket with a lid, so that you can store it afterwards.
Can my child make the solution?
Yes, as long as there is parental supervision, the instructions are easy enough to follow that a child can make it.
Can I order larger quantities of bubble concentrate to make for an event?
Yes, at the moment, we supply pouches that make 5L of solution at a time, you can order as many pouches as you need. Should you need to make a larger batch, we can supply concentrate that makes up to 20L at a time. Simply email us for a quote and we will make up the concentrate for you.
Shipping the bubbles
Why did you stop making the ready-made solution?
When it came to shipping the solution, we found that there were instances of damaged shipments resulting in unfulfilled orders. The shipping costs were greater due to the weight of the buckets. Now the pouches are well protected and not as fragile as plastic buckets and the weight is greatly reduced, which brings down the shipping costs.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We require 24-48 hrs to process the shipment, then there is the time for the Courier to deliver the shipment, which takes between 2-4 days to deliver, depending on the area. With PUDO most packages are delivered to major areas within 2 days. So it should take between 3-6 days to receive your order.
Do you offer returns or refunds?
Absolutely. If you have changed your mind and don’t want the product anymore. We will gladly take it back, in its original packaging. If the product has been opened and not used, we will accept the return as well. However if the solution and/or wand have been used, we will not be able to accept the return, but let us know what happened and why you are not happy with the product and we will make a plan from there. Please note that returns will be at the expense of the customer, which includes the courier fee to ship it back. Once the product has been inspected, we will gladly refund your purchase if the above criteria is met.
